
I picked up this ancient Brooks Brothers tweed suit on eBay a few years ago and it remains one of my favorites.
And as I have noted before, you could quite literally go skiing in this thing.

Incredibly beautiful suit. I'm sure in that tweed suit you could go skiing--or cross Antarctica or slay a dragon.
Early attempts at Everest were done in heavy tweed suits...
Oooh, I like a lot! If the itchiness of the trousers is a problem for you, a little silk long underwear will take care of that. I'll never tell. (Anything heavier will be too warm.) Nice shoes for that suit, too!

i have an old southwick or greico 3 button sack green tweed...showed a tailor in california a similar fabric and he said 3 grand to copy -hang on to that suit...
