Heavy Tweed Suit

I picked up this ancient Brooks Brothers tweed suit on eBay a few years ago and it remains one of my favorites.

And as I have noted before, you could quite literally go skiing in this thing.

Shirt from Press, Andover Shop wool tie, Allen Edmonds McLains with Topys for the snow.

Excellent. Though I would probably be a bit of a stain magnet near the stove.

Incredibly beautiful suit. I'm sure in that tweed suit you could go skiing--or cross Antarctica or slay a dragon.

Early attempts at Everest were done in heavy tweed suits...

Oooh, I like a lot! If the itchiness of the trousers is a problem for you, a little silk long underwear will take care of that. I'll never tell. (Anything heavier will be too warm.) Nice shoes for that suit, too!
