Keeping Cool in Washington

Time for a quick smoke in a little park opposite Brooks Bros. on Connecticut Ave. Swag from J. Press, JR Cigar and Borders, which seems to have abandoned the audio CD. A very feeble selection and lots of empty shelves, and I don't think it's just a post-Christmas situation.

One must use small records shops (if you have any in your hood) for tunes of a not down-loadable format, if one wishes to use a grounded shop at all. Then there is Amazon, and the local (in my hood) thrifts (Gwill).
Y'all is a Chillaxing Brah!

Looks like a surveliance photot! Too funny.

I've enjoyed cigars in that park and many others around DC. Great town.

A stylish look. More detail on the J Press swag, please.

Looking good. Tweed and cigar smoke- the way things should be.

Our local (the original) Borders seems to be headed in the same direction. Could be near the end. I remember before it was sold to the big boys by our near neighbor Tom Borders who started as a campus bookstore with his brother Louis. I coached his youngest son Luke at soccer for a number of years. All things must pass.

I am just shocked the PC Police didn't make you put out the cigar there in D.C....Just curious, what type stogie do you have fired up?

Cheap cigar, a Rosa Cuba. I exercised great restraint at Press, only bought socks.
